We have different styles of support depending on what stage of development your social enterprise is at. This is peer to peer learning at its most effective.

For seed ideas and startups we offer a Breakfast Jam! The opportunity to share your idea with peers and glean advice from experts in the room – with the bonus of breakfast treats from The Big Fig.

For social enterprises that have already started-up or are well established, we offer Action Learning Sets. These are a powerful way for you to learn from your social enterprise peers. Regular facilitated sessions enable you to work in small groups to address your complicated issues collectively to solve real problems, take action and reflect on the results. The Action Learning Set will help you to improve your problem-solving process and enable you to develop a close network with a group of like-minded social entrepreneurs in the city.

‘The action learning sets were amazing at supporting our business’s growth. The group provided me with invaluable help, and I look forward to more sessions in the future.’

Simon Cobb, Stoneham Bakehouse

It did me a lot of good to share my fears, challenges and triumphs with a bunch of clever people doing the same thing as me. I got a lot from the conversations, the space to think and the mutual support.
Ruth Anslow, HiSbe

‘Connecting with such an incredible and collaborative group of social entrepreneurs who are making a real difference in the world has given me new perspective, enabling me to refocus my vison and journey.’
Fiona Ras, The Platform

There are two Action Learning Sets running for 3 facilitated sessions in 2017;
StartUp – For social enterprises in their first 3-years
Established – For social enterprises established for 3 years or more

The cost of one Action Learning Set is £60 for the 3 sessions – participants must commit to all 3 sessions (The cost of season events is subsidised by sponsorship from The Platform)
